Solar is a considered purchase. Homeowners collect three or four quotes, see prices that vary by thousands of dollars, and worry about pushy sales reps and installers who vanish once the panels are on the roof. So a solar installer's website has to do the reassuring before anyone calls: what it will roughly cost, who actually does the install, whether they cover my suburb, and what happens after I ask.
The brief
Tolo Electrical was launching a brand-new website and needed it to hold its own against established solar companies from day one. It had to make solar the clear specialty while showing the same licensed crew handles batteries, EV chargers and everyday electrical work. It had to prove the business is genuinely local to Greater Western Sydney. And it had to turn a homeowner who is comparing quotes into a quote request in about thirty seconds.
What we built
- A quote form in the hero. Four fields (name, phone, suburb and what they need), on screen the moment the page loads, with a one-business-day reply promise and "no pushy sales calls" sitting right under the button.
- Pricing up front. A real range, $4,000 to $12,000 installed after the rebate, shown beside the form and explained in the FAQ. Price is the first question every homeowner has, and most installer sites avoid it.
- Six service pages. Residential solar, battery storage, EV chargers, solar repairs, switchboard upgrades and general electrical, each one answering what usually comes up on a quote call.
- Six suburb pages for local search. Penrith, Blacktown, Parramatta, the Hills District, Liverpool and Campbelltown, so Tolo can be found by people searching for a solar installer in their own area.
- Buyer guides. Plain-English guides to what solar costs in Sydney and what size system a household needs, written for the research stage before someone is ready for a quote.
- A clear four-step process. Free quote and roof check, design and rebate paperwork, install, switch on. Nobody has to wonder what happens after they press send.
- Call and WhatsApp one tap away on every page, for homeowners who would rather talk to a person.
At launch
New websites take a few months to build up rankings and enquiries, so rather than guess at results, here is where the site started. We'll add the real numbers here as they come in.

- Zero layout shift while the page loads, so nothing jumps around under a thumb on a phone.
- Local business and FAQ structured data that tells Google and AI assistants who Tolo is, which suburbs it covers and what solar costs.
Design and build notes
Solar buyers are wary, and with good reason: the industry is known for door-knockers and companies that disappear after the install. So the design leans on calm confidence rather than hype. The blue and orange come straight from the Tolo logo, the numbers are plain instead of "unbeatable deals", and the reassurance sits exactly where people hesitate: under the form button, next to the price, beside the warranty. The site runs on Next.js so it stays quick, and the quote form, call button and WhatsApp stay within thumb reach on a phone, because that's where most homeowners first look up an installer.
