Almost one in four businesses around Minto and St Andrews works in transport, postal or warehousing, the highest share of any area we cover. At home, fewer than half of Minto residents speak only English. So a website here usually has two jobs: winning freight and trade work, and speaking clearly to a multilingual local market.

At June 2025 the ABS counted 1,930 businesses in the statistical area that takes in both Minto and St Andrews, up 17.4% from 1,644 in 2021. Transport, postal and warehousing accounts for 467 of them and construction another 309. Nearly 63% have no employees, which suggests plenty of owner-drivers and solo tradies. For a one-person operation, the most useful online assets are usually a complete Google Business Profile and a lean site that makes calling or booking easy. The 181 businesses turning over $2 million or more tend to need more depth: fleet, compliance and coverage pages.

Where business happens

From the intermodal terminal to Minto Mall

Minto's industrial precinct covers about 256 hectares. A draft 2020 employment land review for Campbelltown City Council called it a strategic employment precinct for transport, logistics and manufacturing, recommended it be protected for industry and suggested enabling 24/7 business operation. In March 2025 Goodman Group was reported to have bought its rail-connected intermodal terminal from Qube for about $200 million, on condition that it keep running as an intermodal.

Everyday shopping centres on Minto Mall at 10 Brookfield Road, a short walk from Minto station, with Kmart, Woolworths and more than 60 specialty stores after a 2022 refurbishment. Around it, the One Minto renewal, developed by Landcom with Campbelltown City Council and Land and Housing Corporation, delivered 1,150 homes on a 120-hectare site and cut the public housing share from 100% to 30%.

Built for owner-drivers and local traders

A Minto site rarely needs to be big. It needs to say plainly what you do and which suburbs you cover.

Lean sites for owner-drivers

If you run a truck or removals business, customers want your service area, vehicle sizes, insurance details and a fast way to ask for a quote. A Launch site covers that, set up with SEO groundwork for local searches and a Google Business Profile listing the suburbs you serve.

Bengali and English side by side

Bengali was the most common language after English in Minto at the 2021 Census. For a grocer or accountant serving that community, a Bengali landing page with English navigation can ease first contact. The wording comes from you or a translator you trust, we build the page, and it pays off if you can reply in both languages.

Proof for logistics buyers

Larger freight and warehousing firms win contracts on reliability. We build pages for your fleet, accreditations, safety systems and coverage, so a shipper or procurement team can check you out at their desk before they pick up the phone.

Minto is part of our patch

Minto sits on the rail corridor between Ingleburn and Leumeah, right in the area we work from. We can meet at your depot or shop when that helps, though a project can just as easily run on video calls and a private preview link. Sayed handles every enquiry personally and replies within one business day.

For food businesses, look at Afghan Kebab House, the family-run halal restaurant on Clyde Street, South Granville. Its site takes table bookings online and runs on a custom CMS the family uses to change the menu and hours themselves.

Local support worth knowing

Free, in-person help is available to Minto business owners through council.

Good to know

Minto web design questions, answered

Do you build websites for transport and courier businesses in Minto?
Yes. Transport, postal and warehousing tops the ABS business count for Minto and St Andrews, with 467 businesses at June 2025. For owner-drivers we usually recommend a lean site with service areas, vehicle details and a quote form. For larger operators in the Minto industrial precinct we add fleet, compliance and coverage pages that support contract tenders.
Can my Minto business website be in Bengali?
Yes. We can build Bengali versions of key pages, or one Bengali landing page that links into an English site. At the 2021 Census, 12.6% of Minto residents used Bengali at home, with Nepali (5.7%) and Hindi (3.7%) next. The Bengali wording comes from you or a translator you trust, and we build the pages around it. You'll also need to be able to reply to enquiries in Bengali for it to pay off.
Do you work with businesses in St Andrews too?
Yes. The ABS groups Minto and St Andrews into one statistical area, and we work with businesses across both, along with Leumeah, Ingleburn and the rest of Campbelltown City. If your customers come from several of these suburbs, we write your service-area content and Google Business Profile guidance to match the places you actually cover.
What's the most affordable way to get a proper website in Minto?
For a one-person business, our Launch package from $1,500 inc. GST is usually enough: about three pages, mobile-first, with local SEO foundations and a handover so you can make your own edits. It takes about a week. If you later need more service pages or a second language, Grow starts at $3,500 for six to eight pages. We explain how we keep smaller builds lean on our small business websites page.
