Kayinat Perfumery

Fairfield City Council counts nearly 3,000 businesses and 20,000 jobs across the Smithfield-Wetherill Park industrial estate. Many of those firms sell to other businesses, and those buyers often shortlist suppliers online before calling anyone. We build websites for estate businesses that get onto the shortlist.

Barely anyone lives in the ABS area for the Wetherill Park industrial estate: an estimated 39 residents in 2025. Yet it held 1,840 businesses at June 2025, and the profile looks nothing like the residential suburbs around it. About a third turned over $2 million or more, and 185 employ 20 people or more. Manufacturing leads (346), with rental, hiring and real estate (332), construction (294) and wholesale trade (236) behind it. The count has risen only 1.7% since 2021, the mark of a mature estate rather than a fast-growing one. In an established firm, the website is easy to neglect.

Where business happens

Inside the Wetherill Park estate

Council describes the Smithfield-Wetherill Park estate as one of the largest in the Southern Hemisphere, connected to the M4 and M7 motorways, the new Western Sydney Airport and a nearby intermodal terminal. The Horsley Drive is the main road through Wetherill Park, with Polding Street and Victoria Street the other major routes, and the Liverpool to Parramatta T-way (route T80) runs partly through the suburb.

TAFE NSW Wetherill Park sits on The Horsley Drive and describes itself as a Manufacturing Centre of Excellence, with workshops for metal fabrication, welding and drafting, plus heavy and light vehicle workshops. For employers on the estate, that's a training ground for apprentices in the same suburb, and a good reason to treat your careers page as seriously as your product pages.

A small creative team working together

What a B2B website on the estate should do

Your visitors are buyers, builders and fleet managers with a job to finish. The site should let them finish it in a few clicks.

Specs a buyer can check

Set out what you make, stock or hire, with the details a buyer needs: materials, sizes, tolerances, lead times and certifications. Downloadable spec sheets and honest photos of the factory floor do more for a Wetherill Park manufacturer than a slogan on the home page.

Enquiries you can actually price

A trade enquiry form that asks for ABN, quantities, delivery suburb and timing gets you a request you can quote on straight away. For hire firms, showing rates by the day or week and how to check availability saves a round of phone calls before every job.

A careers page that recruits

With a TAFE manufacturing campus on The Horsley Drive, apprentices and tradespeople are looking for work close by. A careers page with real roles, shift patterns and photos of your workshop helps you hire without paying a job board every time someone leaves.

Selling online from the estate

If you want to take orders online, from a trade portal for account customers to a full store, the build has to fit your catalogue rather than the other way round. We built Kayinat Perfumery, an online store for a luxury Arabian perfume brand, as a custom build rather than on Shopify, and that's the route we'd suggest for a large or unusual product range. Our e-commerce builds start at $5,500.

If your current site still brings in enquiries but looks its age, a website redesign holds on to the URLs and rankings you've built up while fixing the speed and mobile layout that buyers notice first.

Local support worth knowing

Fairfield City Council treats the estate as a priority precinct, and its business team is a sensible first contact.

Good to know

Wetherill Park web design questions, answered

Does a long-established Wetherill Park business really need a new website?
Not always. If your site loads quickly on a phone, lists what you make or supply and brings in enquiries, keep it. The ABS count shows almost no change in the estate's business numbers from 2021 to 2025, which points to a mature estate rather than a wave of new firms. If yours was built before most buyers browsed on phones, a rebuild is worth quoting.
Our Wetherill Park wholesale business stocks thousands of lines. What are the options online?
There are a few. Wholesale trade accounts for 236 businesses in the estate's ABS area, and a big range needs more than a brochure site. We can plan a searchable catalogue, a trade enquiry flow or a full online store. E-commerce builds start at $5,500 and take two to three weeks for a standard store; a large catalogue gets a fixed quote once we've seen your product data.
Which package suits a Wetherill Park manufacturer?
Most estate manufacturers suit Grow, from $3,500 including GST: six to eight pages, enough for capability, industries served, quality and careers, delivered in about two weeks. A one-person workshop could begin with Launch, from $1,500, for about three pages. Our article on what a website costs in Sydney explains what moves a quote up or down.
Does a Wetherill Park industrial business need pages in other languages?
For B2B sales, English pages usually do the job, since you're selling to purchasing teams across Sydney. Recruitment can be different. The 2021 Census found a third of Wetherill Park residents used only English at home, with Arabic, Assyrian Neo-Aramaic and Chaldean Neo-Aramaic all common. If you hire locally for the floor or the warehouse, a short careers page in Arabic, worded by you or a translator you trust, can widen your pool.
