Penrith has its own city centre, a 14-storey hospital tower at Nepean in Kingswood and the new Western Sydney International Airport about 13 km south. We're a Macarthur studio around 30 km away, building websites for the clinics, venues and property businesses working around all three.

Penrith's statistical area held 2,283 businesses in the ABS count for June 2025, 7.7% more than in 2021. Rental, hiring and real estate is the largest group (348), then construction (293), with health care and professional services almost level at 258 and 257. Penrith also has a solid layer of bigger firms: 111 businesses employ 20 or more people and 323 turn over $2 million or more. For those, a website is a sales tool handling real volume, so we plan for more service pages, a clearer structure and forms that send each enquiry to the right person.

Where business happens

High Street, Kingswood and the road to the airport

Penrith is the administrative centre of the City of Penrith, about 55 km west of the Sydney CBD, with the Nepean River along its western edge. Westfield Penrith is the suburb's largest shopping centre, and Penrith station serves both the Main Western line and the Blue Mountains Line. Council is building up the city centre's night-time trade: its inaugural Penrith After Dark, in May 2026, drew more than 12,000 people to High Street, Memory Park and Woodriff Street.

In Kingswood, Nepean Hospital's 14-storey tower opened in 2022, and the Penrith campus of Western Sydney University is reached from Second Avenue. Hospitals were the top industry of employment for Penrith residents in the 2021 Census. To the south, Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport began freight operations in July 2026, and the federal government set 25 October 2026 as the start of passenger flights, opening with a Jetstar service to the Gold Coast.

A stylish boutique retail interior

How we'd build for Penrith's biggest business groups

Every site we make is custom web design, but the brief changes with the part of Penrith's economy you work in.

Bookings for the High Street crowd

Cafés, bars and restaurants near High Street need hours, menus and table bookings one tap away on a phone, plus a spot to list event nights like Penrith After Dark. We built online table bookings and a custom CMS for Afghan Kebab House, so the family updates its own menu and hours.

Clinic pages near Nepean

With 258 health care businesses in the area, allied health and specialist practices compete on clarity. We build practitioner profiles, plain information on fees and referrals, online booking and clear directions with parking details, so a patient can choose you and find you without phoning reception first.

Property pages that answer first questions

Rental, hiring and real estate is Penrith's largest business group. For agencies and property managers we build appraisal and rental enquiry forms, suburb pages only for areas you actually manage, and listing pages that stay quick on mobile data, so a renter checking from a bus stop sees the details without waiting.

Choosing a Macarthur studio for a Penrith site

We'll be straight about distance. Penrith is about 30 km from our base in the Campbelltown and Ingleburn area, so most of a project runs over video calls and a private preview link you can open on any device. You see each page as it's built, leave comments, and we change it. The reason to choose us is the work, not a short drive.

Some of that work is already about Penrith. For Tolo Electrical, a Western Sydney solar installer, we built a quote-first site with upfront pricing, buyer guides and six suburb pages, Penrith among them, so homeowners searching in their own area could find the business.

Local support worth knowing

Penrith City Council runs a business team with a monthly eNewsletter and support for city centre traders.

Good to know

Penrith web design questions, answered

Will Western Sydney International Airport change what my Penrith website needs?
It depends on who you serve. The airport, about 13 km south of the Penrith CBD, opened to freight in July 2026 ahead of passenger flights scheduled from 25 October 2026, and Penrith City Council lists airport and aerotropolis among its key growth industries. If you run accommodation, transport or a trade working for airport businesses, add a page that says so plainly. If your customers are local households, your Google Business Profile still matters more.
What should a Penrith café or bar website do for evening trade?
Put trading hours, the menu and a booking button within one tap on a phone, and keep them current. Penrith City Council is building up the city centre's night-time economy, and its inaugural Penrith After Dark night in May 2026 drew more than 12,000 people. When events like that are on, a page listing your late hours or specials gives people a reason to walk in.
Do Penrith businesses need multilingual websites?
Rarely. Penrith's residents speak many languages, but none dominates: Mandarin was the most common after English in the 2021 Census at 1.7%, followed by Tagalog (1.0%) and Hindi (0.9%), while 71.9% used only English at home. With the rest spread so widely, one clear English site written in plain words usually reaches more customers than several partial translations.
We're one of Penrith's larger firms. Which package fits?
Penrith had 111 businesses with 20 or more staff in the ABS June 2025 count, and a firm that size rarely fits in a three-page site. Grow, from $3,500 inc. GST for six to eight pages over roughly two weeks, covers several services and a team page. Firms needing careers pages, extra service areas or an online store, from $5,500, get a scope written to match. Either way, the price is fixed before work starts.
