Leppington station opened in 2015. The rezoning of the town centre around it was finalised in June 2026, and Western Sydney International Airport began freight flights a month later, with its first passenger flights set for 25 October 2026. Through all that change, 61% of local businesses still have no employees, so we start with websites that suit a one-person operation.

Of those, 1,072 have no employees and 470 turn over under $50,000 a year. Where business happens

Leppington station and the rezoned town centre

Leppington station opened on 8 February 2015 as the terminus of the South West Rail Link, served by the T2 Leppington and Inner West Line and the T5 Cumberland Line. In June 2026 the NSW Government finalised the rezoning of Leppington Town Centre, with planning controls for about 11,500 homes over 20 years and up to 11,000 jobs in the longer term, focused around the station and ranging from 3 to 30 storeys.

Since 5 July 2026 a bus has run every 30 minutes from Liverpool to Western Sydney International Airport via Leppington, taking about 55 minutes, and the airport began handling freight flights in July 2026. Further ahead, the federal government committed $1 billion in March 2025 to secure future rail corridors, including one from Leppington to Bradfield.

Small sites now, more pages later

We'd rather build a small Leppington site that works today than a big one waiting for the town centre to arrive.

Arabic and Urdu pages, built properly

At the 2021 Census, fewer than half of Leppington residents (48.1%) spoke only English at home. Arabic (5.1%), Urdu (3.4%), Hindi (3.4%), Nepali (2.9%) and Assyrian Neo-Aramaic (2.3%) were the most common others. We build each language as its own set of pages, using wording from you or a translator you trust.

Quote requests for transport work

There are 299 transport and warehousing businesses in the Leppington and Catherine Field area. For an owner-driver or small fleet, a page listing vehicle types, service areas and how to book does the selling. A quote-first layout like the one we built for iProtect Cleaning gets the request in quickly.

Room to grow with the suburb

Start with about three pages and add more as you hire, take premises in the new town centre or win bigger contracts. Because every site we deliver is custom web design with a handover, adding a page later doesn't mean starting again from scratch.

One suburb, two councils

Most of Leppington sits in Camden Council, with the north-west part in Liverpool City Council, and the ABS groups it with Catherine Field. A local site should name the suburbs you actually serve, and your Google Business Profile should match the website's address exactly so Google treats them as one business.

The town centre rezoning sets the rules for how land can be used. It doesn't approve any buildings, so the shops and offices it allows still need development approval and construction. Until they arrive, being easy to find in local search matters more than a shopfront, which is why we put the budget into speed, clear contact options and Google Business Profile basics.

Local support worth knowing

Leppington businesses can draw on either council, depending on which side of the boundary they trade from.

Sources and how we researched this page

We researched this page in October 2026. The business figures are from the Australian Bureau of Statistics, and every local detail was checked against the public sources below, most of them council, NSW Government and ABS pages.

Good to know

Leppington web design questions, answered

Is Leppington close enough for you to visit?
Yes, Leppington is on our doorstep. Our base in the Campbelltown and Ingleburn area is a short drive away, so we can meet at your home office, your depot or near the station. After the first conversation most of the work runs over video calls and a private preview link, and you can check every page on the preview link before it goes live.
Should a Leppington business mention Western Sydney International Airport on its website?
Only if it's relevant to what you do. A freight operator, airport transfer service or accommodation provider can reasonably say it serves the airport, which has handled freight since July 2026 and set 25 October 2026 for its first passenger flights. A Leppington hairdresser can't, and repeating the word 'airport' across every page won't help rankings. Be specific and honest about distance and services.
Leppington is split between Camden and Liverpool councils. Does that affect my website?
Not much. The council matters for approvals, signage and grants, so check which one covers your address. For the website, what matters is using the same address and suburb name everywhere, listing the nearby suburbs you serve and making sure your Google Business Profile matches. Both councils run business support pages, linked on this page.
I run a farm or rural business in Catherine Field. Is a website worth it?
Agriculture is still among the top eight industries in the Leppington and Catherine Field area, with 85 businesses. For a farm gate stall, nursery or produce supplier, a simple site showing what's in season, opening days and directions, plus a Google Business Profile, catches buyers who search before they drive out. A Launch site from $1,500 inc. GST covers that.
